Job Overview

We’re looking for a Product Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team in Modena. 
He/She will support Head of Quality to ensure the successful development of Eggtronic products. He/She will apply quality engineering principles to achieve products that are developed and manufactured in accordance with Eggtronic policy, procedures, international standards and regulations.


He/She will assure proper documentation and execution of design planning, inputs and outputs, design review, verification and validation, FMEA and design changes. 
He/She will periodically monitor the applicable standards and regulations versions to achieve and assure CE, UL, FCC (special focus on EMC and Safety) compliance.
He/She will promote a continuous quality improvement culture within organization, especially with Engineering and Suppliers by through the application of dedicated quality tools and trainings.
He/She will work in close contact with Engineering team in order to ensure that Quality procedures and best practices are applied in effective manner (including inputs and outputs, design review, verification and validation necessary to go to next phase EVT, DVT, PVT, Risk Management FMEA).
He/She will work in close contact with suppliers in order to: 

i) assure that products requirements and tests are properly met;
ii) support the Risk Management (i.e PFMEA) definition;
iii) support investigation analysis and corrective actions closure. 

He/She will support the whole supply chain by assuring that designs are properly transferred to suppliers in alignment with requirements, standards and procedures. 

Reports To

The Product Quality Engineer will report directly to the Head of Quality.


Qualifications and Background

  • Specialized and Technical Knowledge
    • Knowledge of Quality practices and tools
    • Knowledge of LVD directive and FCC 
    • Basic knowledge of electronic devices
  • Tools
    • Google documents or sheets (or EXCEL, Word, Powerpoint),
    • Minitab
  • Soft Skills
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a team (italian and international teams)
    • Organizational skills
    • Problem solving technique and autonomy

  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience in quality departments from biomedical, automotive, railway or similar sectors
  • Master’s Degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
  • Good knowledge of English (B1 or higher in reading)   
  • Certifications achieved about statistical and data management (i.e Green Belt, CRE) - nice to have
