SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate Software Designer to develop innovative software solutions in our ICs Engineering Design team in Modena, currently focused on the development of our IC roadmap.
You will be involved in design and development of innovative and fully performing software. You will also support and/or install software applications/operating systems and participate in the IC testing process through debug, test review and analysis. You will work in dynamic, proactive and young team within IC Engineering Department.

Main Responsabilities:
  • Feasibility studies regarding SW solutions by evaluating requirements and specifications in collaboration with HW and IC designers
  • Software architecture and interfaces design in various software languages
  • Software development based on information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
  • Software Debug and Test, as well as optimization (performance tuning and functional improvement) during the product lifecycle
  • Evaluation of new technologies for design implementation
  • Reviewing third party/other teams source code

Reports To

The Software Engineer will report directly to the Head of IC Team

Qualifications and Background
  • Hard Skills :
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS
  • Knowledge of languages C/C++, C#
  • scripting Python / TCL
  • Good knowledge about the Object-Oriented Design principle and design patterns

  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields
  • Good knowledge of English (B1 or higher in reading)  
  • Graduate > 100/110 final marks
  • 0 to 4 years of software engineering or software development experience
