Position Title: Magnetics Design and Thermal simulation Engineer 

2.          JOB PURPOSE
Electronic Engineer with focus on magnetics design in the field of AC/DC power converters, wireless power and data transfer systems. Activity includes modeling of inductor, transformer and coils. Run script with optimization for efficiency and wire size and type. Evaluate the design on real prototype together with Electronic Engineers.
Perform evaluation of PCBA in simulation environment importing 3D files and power loss information. Evaluate the design result on real prototype together with Electronic Engineers.

Accountability Areas Key Related Activities

Development
●          Mechanical modeling and 3D import
●          Electromagnetic stress assignment
●          Heat transfer assignment and boundary condition

Validation       
●          Analytic data reading
●          Results analysis

Reporting       
●          Documents the design step and process vs test results

Optimization 
●          Refine the simulation according power loss estimation and components stress reduction
